June 21, 2006 - Back to a Five Piece Line-up

"As some of you may have already heard, Nick is no longer playing with Shoot.The.Moon. We are at a very intense time where we are really kicking things into high gear and that is something that requires full devotion from each and every one of us. With that being said, Nick feels that he won't be able to give all of his focus to the band and doesn't want to hold us back in any way so he has decided to place his main focus on other aspects of his life instead. We really respect his decision, and it won't be the same playing without him. It is very important that everyone know that Nick put in 2 dedicated years with the band and his contributions should always be respected and never forgotten. He helped shape the band into what it is today just as much as every other one of us and for that we thank him. More important than anything though is that Nick is just a great friend and a great person and anyone who knows Nick knows that. We are happy that we are all on the same good terms as ever and no friendships were lost or harmed out of this. That is definately the most important thing to us. We love Nick and we wish him luck in his other endeavors and I am sure we will play nintendo or get sushi with him tomorrow anyway. So with Nick no longer playing with us, you might be wondering who will fill in his shoes. The answer: Nobody. Nick CANNOT and WILL NOT be replaced. We have decided that the only thing we want to do in this situation is work extra hard and shift things up to make the songs work and still have the same effect as always. Alex, will be taking up some electric guitar duties on a few songs and Matt will shift over to Alex's piano slot for those songs. Matt will also be playing electric guitar on one song. As for other songs Dan will be using an electric guitar intstead of the usual acoustic. So our songs will be half electric and half acoustic. We have just starting playing this way but it seems to be working out. So that's the scoop on that. Otherwise, we just added a shit load of shows and mini-tour dates and we are still building up more. We are doing the majority of them with Earth Stood Still (formerly The 16 mm Shrine) and we could not be more excited. They are some of our favorite people on our planet so we can't wait. Two shirts have been added to the merch section. The Room available starting 4-7-06. The Wires will be coming soon. Support the band and pick up a shirt at a show. In other news, another show added for May 6. So all you Moon fans are def gonna get a chance to check out the boyzzzz. Stay tuned for further updates.

....and the updates continue. More shows posted, and more pictures in the gallery, so check both of those out. Journals coming soon, more downloads coming sooner then that probably, including wallpapers, buddy icons, etc. stay tuned.
March 26, 2006 - New Site

What uppppppppp. The site is 90% complete and now open to the public, check out everything from the pictures, to the music downloads, to checking out the lyrics to the NEW SONGS. Feel free to contact anyone on the contact page, everyone is friendly and lovesssss to talk I promise. Also, journals from band memebers coming when.....they write them. Tons of funny videos and live footage to show as well, so be prepared to spend alot of time in front of that screen your staring at to take it all in. Downloads coming very soon. (wallpapers, buddy icons, etc.) Also, don't forget April 7th, mark it in on your calendars, erase what used to be in them, do what you gotta do, set the tone. BE THERE. March 25, 2006 - Welcome Home

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the new Shoot.The.Moon site. Its not much yet, but it sure is getting there. I promise promise promise promise to have most of it up and running sometime in the very near future, but until then better news is upon us. The band will be releasing 3 songs on April 1, over on their Myspace. Also, head over to the Tapestry Cafe in Netcong on April 7th to hear the new songs live in action along with all your old favorites. Come support Shoot.The.Moon and all the others playing.
